  3. To install Spiral, simply double click the "Spiral Installer" icon, and then click the "Install" button when the install window appears.  Spiral and its help notebooks will be installed to your startup disk, and placed in a folder named "Spiral 1.0.2".

  5. If you would like to be able to import to & export from Spiral for use with word processors or other applications, double click the "XTND Installer" icon and click the "Install" button.

  7. The "Spiral Read-Only Installer" will install a read-only version of Spiral.

  9. IMPORTANT NOTE:

  11. It's best if you DO NOT install both the regular and read-only versions on the same Macintosh.  If you do, double-clicking a document will often launch the read-only version of the program, which may not be what you want.  You can easily send someone the read-only version by sending them the intstall package (which is compressed and easier to send anyway) rather than the unpacked applicaton.
